Shortly after the ‘Wrap Party’ for the interCaribbean Airways & Pure Grenada Sailing Week 2025 (and what a party it was hosted by Prickly Bay Marina) we started the process of reflecting on the excitement of the week so we can look forward to the next edition.
Co-Regatta Managers Ariel & Nikoyan Roberts supported by the Board Directors, Committee Members and Volunteers certainly felt like they had run a marathon being their first time managing the regatta on behalf of the Grenada Sailing Week Board.
Two stunning islands, five welcoming venues, six fun parties and five days of exhilarating racing! The regatta saw 30 high-performance boats and over 260 elite sailors from 12 nations go head-to-head in fierce spirit of competition. With the support of 25 sponsors and 23 dedicated volunteers, the event was a true showcase of skill, endurance, and tactical brilliance-capped off with plenty of celebrations and, of course, a splash or two of rum!
But beyond the thrilling battles on the water, this regatta was about more than just winning—it was about camaraderie. Rivals on the course became friends onshore, united by a shared passion for sailing, adventure, and the unmistakable spirit of the event. From hard-fought finishes to nights filled with laughter and celebration this was a regatta where competition and community sailed side by side.

From The Helm
On behalf of the Regatta Management Team, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this year’s regatta a success. To our participants, especially those who return year after year, your passion and sportsmanship define this event. To our dedicated volunteers, media partners, business service suppliers, and the many friends of the sailing community, we truly appreciate your support.
A special thank you to the Grenada Sailing Week Board of Directors, Organizing and Race Committees for their tireless efforts, and to our incredible Sponsors, whose generosity makes this event possible.
Feedback affirms that this year’s regatta exceeded expectations, with several major Sponsors already pledging support for 2026 and 2027. More importantly, a shared vision has emerged, one of deeper collaboration to elevate Grenada’s Marine & Yachting sector through youth development, skills training, and capacity building. Stay engaged via our website and social media for updates on these exciting initiatives.
Looking ahead, our major goal for 2026 is to double participation, a challenge championed by key stakeholders eager to explore innovative solutions. If you have ideas to help us achieve this, we invite you to email [email protected] we’d love to hear from you!
With exciting pre-event activities in the works, 2026 promises to be another game-changer. Stay tuned! Emails will go out in September with event details, opportunities for input, and an early registration incentive.
Thank you once again for being part of this journey and we look forward to welcoming you back to the shores of Grenada for another unforgettable regatta!
Fair winds and following seas! Nikoyan & Ariel Roberts (Mother & Daughter)
