Tyrell Bay Marina Carriacou
Race Headquarters from Friday 28 January (PM) – Sunday 30 January (AM)
Our Race Headquarters including our Regatta Office and the Protest Office will be situated at Tyrell Bay Marina Carriacou from Friday 28 January – 3pm onwards until Sunday 30 January 10am, when the yachts race back down to Grenada.
TBMC is a full service boatyard and marina, newly built in Carriacou’s Tyrell Bay and which boasts one of the biggest travel lifts within the region. More information can be found on their website: http://www.tyrellbaymarinacarriacou.com/
Cassada Bay Resort
Prizegiving Venue Saturday 29 January
The venue for our prizegiving event will be Cassada Bay Resort, Belmont in Carriacou. Cassada Bay Resort is a new resort built on the grounds of the old Marine School in Belmont. Many of the original features have been retained such as the stunning location for the bar and restaurant with a fabulous veranda open on 3 sides with views over Carriacou’s outlying islands and over to Grenada. South west facing the bar and restaurant boasts one of the best places in Carriacou to catch the sunset. Cassada Bay Resort will be hosting the prizegiving for the Tyrell Bay Marina Carriacou sponsored Round Island Race on Saturday 29 January, as one of their soft opening events.
There will be a buffet menu (tickets to be purchased in advance) for US$56 / EC$150 (this includes sundowners, appetizers, drinks and the buffet menu). Email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a ticket for your group.
We will put on transport up to Cassada Bay Resort from Tyrell Bay Marina Carriacou. For early birds the transport will start at 4.30pm and the buffet dinner will start from 5pm. Prizegiving will be at 7pm. (All times approximate.)

Iguana Cafe situated at Carriacou Marine in Tyrrel Bay, Carriacou is the venue for Friday 28 January – Race 1 – Grenada to Carriacou prizegiving and after race lime. Iguana Cafe is run by Roxanne Russell of The Round House, Bogles and offers a great selection of home cooked food at reasonable prices. Roxanne has put together a special bbq menu for Grenada Sailing Week which will be available soon here.
Iguana Cafe is also offering a breakfast menu for Saturday 29 January and Sunday 30 January and you can order a sandwich lunch (the night before) for the races. Look out for the order form in the skippers folders.
