The Organizing Authority of Grenada Sailing Week and the Commodore of Petite Calivigny Yacht Club (PCYC) are excited to announce a collaborative effort to host the 2022 edition of Grenada’s premier sailing event, under the title: Grenada Sailing Week – The PCYC Edition. Due to constraints placed on the event by the pandemic, the regatta will be a one-off departure from the regular week long regatta, with a 3-day blend of traditional Grenada Sailing Week races and the PCYC Around the Island Regatta. The regatta starts on Thursday 27 January with the Final Registration, Skipper Briefing and Welcome Party at Port Louis Marina. Races will be held on the following days, 28 – 30 January 2022. The first race day will see participants sail the 35-mile passage from Grand Anse, Grenada to Tyrell Bay, Carriacou. Day two will be a race around Carriacou, and day three will be the return passage to Grenada. The final prize-giving will be held at La Phare Bleu Marina in St. David’s.

This fun-filled, family friendly regatta with nightly events and prize-givings will be open to a range of CSA-rated boat classes and participants are welcome to sail individual races or all three. Details and more information will be released in the coming weeks. Skippers can register their interest at: https://bit.ly/GSW-registration
